KIRA: I had chickenpox at age 3, and it revived last year as shingles on my shoulder. My doctor said stress and low immunity can reactivate shingles at my age (35).

FRED: I got the shingles vaccine at age 66 and so far no shingles.. My doctor says the vaccine is only 55% effective, but if I get shingles, it will be more mild..

SHARON: I got shingles six months ago on my head and I am still in pain. My condition would be even worse if I had not received antiviral medicine within 72 hours..

TINA: As a doctor, I am seeing more cases of shingles each year. This is a trend throughout the United STates. Doctors do not yet understand why this is happening.
